A note before you read: we make Wanderfly, one of the platforms on this list, so weigh our view accordingly. We have tried to make this the comparison we would want if we were buying. Every fact about another company comes from that company’s own website, checked on 25 October 2026, and we have said where each one is the better choice.
The verdict, if you only read one section
- Best for Indian startups and MSMEs that want early, team-level warning plus help for the person: Wanderfly. Burnout risk scores from validated stress scales and calendar workload, forecasts at 14, 30 and 60 days, and vetted experts. Free to start, ₹249 per user per month for the full detection layer.
- Best if you mainly want an AI companion for employees: Sukha. Anonymous AI chat in Hindi, English and regional languages, with therapist escalation. It was in early access when we checked.
- Best for large enterprises that want employee listening across the whole lifecycle: inFeedo Amber. A conversational platform with predictive people analytics, sold to enterprise HR.
- Best if what you actually need is productivity and hours tracking: We360.ai or Workstatus. Workforce monitoring tools that also flag overwork. Read the section on them before you buy one for burnout.
Four kinds of tool sold as burnout detection
Search for “burnout detection software” and you get four different products wearing the same label. Knowing which one you are looking at saves you most of the demo calls.
- Burnout risk platforms ask people short, regular questions, often using validated scales, add signals about how heavy the work is, and show risk at team level. They are built for a people leader to act on. Wanderfly is one.
- Employee listening and engagement platforms run pulse surveys or conversational check-ins across the employee lifecycle and predict disengagement and attrition. Burnout is one of many things they track. inFeedo Amber is the best known Indian example; Culture Amp and Workday Peakon are the global ones.
- AI wellbeing companions give employees a private, always-available chat for support, and give HR anonymised trends. The employee is the main user. Sukha is an example.
- Workforce monitoring tools track activity, hours, apps and sometimes screens, and infer overwork from it. The manager is the main user. We360.ai and Workstatus are examples.
None of these is wrong. They answer different questions. The mistake is buying the fourth when you meant the first.

Wanderfly
What it is: a burnout risk platform for Indian startups, MSMEs and enterprises, built in Bengaluru. Its method is Detect, then Intervene: find where stress is building at team level, then help the team and the person.
How it detects: each department gets a Burnout Risk Score from 0 to 100, recomputed nightly over 28 days from four weighted signals: stress from the monthly PSS-10 (35%), meeting workload from Google Calendar or Outlook (30%), daily mood (20%) and engagement (15%). Each score shows its confidence and a forecast at 14, 30 and 60 days. Check-ins happen in the Wanderfly app or in Slack.
What it does next: Initiatives for the team, matched to the driver, and Expert Support through Serene for the person, booked privately.
Privacy: no leader can see an individual’s data; the server refuses it. Five-person floors on every team view. No screenshots, keystrokes or message reading.
Where it falls short: no Microsoft Teams check-ins yet, no HRIS integration yet, and a company under ten people will mostly see a company-wide view. It is a younger company than inFeedo, with nine enterprise clients including ITC, Tally Solutions, Wakefit and Yulu.
Choose it if you are a founder or people leader at a 20 to 500 person Indian company who wants to know where burnout is building before resignations, and refuses to monitor people to find out. More on how Wanderfly detects burnout.
inFeedo Amber
What it is: a conversational people experience platform from inFeedo, based in Gurugram. Its site describes Amber as an agentic AI platform for predictive intelligence, HR automation and employee communication, and lists large customers such as Sony, Lenovo, EY, Tata and Maruti Suzuki.
How it detects: Amber talks to employees at points across their lifecycle and runs pulse surveys, then uses predictive people analytics to “spot early warning signs before exits”, in the site’s words. Burnout is presented as one use case among engagement, attrition and HR service automation.
Choose it if you are a large enterprise with a dedicated people analytics function and want one platform for listening, HR helpdesk and communications. For a 50-person startup it is likely more platform than you need, and pricing is only available on request.
Sukha
What it is: an AI mental wellness companion for employees at Indian companies, based in Chandigarh. Employees get an anonymous AI chat, available around the clock in Hindi, English and regional languages, with daily mood check-ins and CBT and mindfulness programmes. HR gets a team-level dashboard without individual data.
How it detects: from what employees share with the companion and in check-ins. Its site says it flags early signals “weeks before they become crises”. Burnout alerts and escalation to licensed therapists are on its ₹499 Growth plan; the ₹299 Starter plan covers up to 50 employees.
Worth knowing: when we checked, Sukha was in early access, with a waitlist. Ask about live customers and deployment timelines.
Choose it if your priority is giving every employee a private place to talk, in their own language, at 2 am. If your priority is a people leader seeing which teams are overloaded by meetings, it is a different tool.
We360.ai and Workstatus
Both are Indian workforce analytics and monitoring tools, and both have started talking about burnout. We360.ai, based in Bhopal, decodes active and idle time every 15 minutes, reports on app and website usage and attrition risk, and lists screenshot capture on its Enterprise tier. Workstatus flags sustained workload pressure from work patterns and hours, alongside activity insights, app and URL tracking and optional screenshots, at about ₹300 per user per month.
Where they help: they are good at showing who is working very long hours, and if you already need time tracking for client billing or attendance, the overwork flags are a useful extra.
Where they do not: hours are not stress. A person can work nine calm hours or six miserable ones. And in our experience, an employee who knows their screen may be captured is the last person who will tell you they are struggling. If burnout is the problem you are solving, read burnout detection versus employee monitoring first.
EAPs and therapy platforms
Employee assistance programmes and workplace therapy providers, such as 1to1help, YourDOST and Amaha in India, are not detection tools, but they are often what a company already has when it starts asking this question. They are valuable: they give people a qualified professional to talk to.
The limit is that they wait for the employee to reach out, and most never do, least of all the high performer who is quietly running on empty. Detection and an EAP are complements. Keep yours, and add something that tells you who might need it.
How to choose, by situation
| If you are… | Look at |
|---|---|
| A 20 to 100 person startup that lost two good people last quarter and did not see it coming | Wanderfly, on the free 30-day Growth trial |
| An MSME with stretched managers and no enterprise HR budget | Wanderfly Growth, ₹199 to ₹249 per person |
| A 5,000 person enterprise wanting one listening and HR service platform | inFeedo Amber, and Wanderfly Enterprise if burnout risk is the specific worry |
| A company that wants every employee to have private support in their own language | Sukha, alongside an EAP |
| A services firm that must track billable hours anyway | Workstatus or We360.ai, with care about what you capture |
| A team under 10 people | No platform yet. A good weekly 1:1 does more. Our guide to spotting burnout is free. |
Whatever you choose, ask every vendor three things in the demo: what exactly is collected, who can see one person’s data, and what happens to it when someone leaves. The answers will tell you more than the feature list.
If you would like to see Wanderfly on demo data shaped like your company, book a 30-minute walkthrough with the founders.
Questions people ask
Which is the best burnout detection platform for startups in India?
It depends on what you mean by detection. If you want to know which teams are heading toward burnout, why, and what to do about it, without monitoring individuals, Wanderfly is built for Indian startups and MSMEs, with a free plan and burnout risk scores at ₹249 per user per month. If you want an always-on AI companion for employees, look at Sukha. For enterprise-scale employee listening, inFeedo Amber. If you mainly want productivity and hours tracking, We360.ai or Workstatus, which are monitoring tools that also flag overwork.
Is employee monitoring software the same as burnout detection?
No. Monitoring software measures activity, such as active and idle time, apps and URLs, and sometimes screenshots, and can flag overwork from it. Burnout detection platforms measure how people say they are and how heavy their work is, usually at team level. Monitoring can show long hours; it cannot show stress, and being watched tends to raise stress.
How much does burnout detection software cost in India?
As published on vendor sites on 25 October 2026: Wanderfly is free to start, with burnout risk scores on its Growth plan at ₹249 per user per month (₹199 billed yearly). Sukha lists ₹299 and ₹499 per employee per month. We360.ai lists ₹399 and ₹599 per user per month. Workstatus lists about ₹300 per user per month. inFeedo does not publish prices. All before GST.
Do I need a burnout detection platform if I already have an EAP?
They do different jobs. An EAP or therapy benefit helps a person who reaches out, and most employees never do. A detection platform tells you where stress is building before anyone asks for help. Many companies keep both; Wanderfly lists your existing EAP inside the product for anyone in crisis.
Which burnout detection tools are compliant with India’s DPDP Act?
Ask each vendor directly, in writing, how they act as data processor for you, where data is stored, how long it is kept and how employees can delete it. Wanderfly is an Indian company that handles personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and publishes its data handling, retention and third parties on its security page.
